Can’t really say if it is purely this or what. I workout regularly and maintain quite a good diet. However sometimes when I eat out, I have high carb, I take this prior to my high carbs meal and usually I get quite high water retention if having high carb the day before. I feel this is reduced if I take it when I have high carbs meal. Overall great quality and ingredients. Remember to take it with regular exercise and diet plan too
