This tuna had a classic 'chicken of the sea' taste. I specifically got it because I wanted to eat some foods naturally rich in Vitamin D. I also liked the idea of it being packed in olive oil. However, the pouch mostly contains tuna and only a very small amount of oil--it doesn't need to be drained. If you were making tuna salad, it would be better to just mix it all in. It's not as rich in Vitamin D as a smaller tuna like skipjack is, but it has a milder smell and flavor.

Though I know I'm not supposed to eat Albacore, these are excellent and well priced. There's just the right amount of oil and the flaked fish is firm and of good quality.

Wow. I love it. The package is very convinient for use and even when you want to take it in your bag. I think some more olive oil will do better to it.

I use this in lunch boxes. Much easier than cans and just the right size package. The tuna is very high quality and tastes great.

It tasted ok, just that it is in regular olive oil and I don't trust that. So I drained off the oil. But other than that, it is ok.

Add it to salads, sandwiches for a good source of protein and omega 3! Great flavor in a small packet! 🐟🐠

Honestly can't taste the difference between this and yellowfin, both are equally great.
